Hello and thank you for taking a look at my website! I am an energetic representational artist (I try to paint in a realistic fashion from life with spirit and emotion). I work in oil paints and I am inspired by beautiful things, especially nature. When I feel an emotional connection with something I’ll want to paint it; motivated to represent both the “something” and my feelings towards the subject. I am over joyed to be a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and exhibit regularly with the society.


I am largely a self taught artist with my best teacher being the great outdoors. Nature is always showing me new ways to appreciate and observe life which in turn I try to document. My work tries to demonstrate the inspiring connection and response to my surroundings. I strive to create realistic paintings which celebrate life and excite the soul without embellishing the subject. My goal is for people to feel good when looking at my paintings.


I believe my work primarily aligns with Contemporary Realism as a genre. With every painting I attempt to represent the subject matter truthfully, without artificiality enhancing. I want to show the natural depth found in every day items and landscapes. I work to strike the fine balance in painting accuracy with emotion and atmosphere. It is very important to me to show my respect to the subject through accurate mark making with feeling.

Based in Hampshire, I paint both "en plein air" and in my Studio. One of my Art heros, David Shevlino, described my style best; "Felicity has a very straightforward way of painting her subjects. Her vision is infused with both uniqueness and exuberance."

I am super proud to exhibit with the Royal Society of British Artists, The Royal Institute of Oil painters, The Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Society of Wildlife Artists, exhibitions held at the Mall Galleries, London. I have also exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Royal West Academy. 


Overjoyed to have been a finalist for the Holly Brush Painting Prize, 2022. Exhibition held in June at the Lauderdale House, London, where I won the peoples vote for emerging artist (thank you!!!)

Solo Exhibition 12 to 24 April 2022

Successful debut show with over 130 oil paintings sold to new homes. Thank you ever so much for your support and interest, it means the world to me.


Moving forward and for the immediate future I am painting and building up my portfolio for a future collection. Although I have very limited "stock" currently available I do accept commissions. Should you be interested in a commission please do reach out to me; I paint on a first come, first served basis and there is currently approx. 6 months wait list.
